SolarVenti SV2 - Slim line is typically mounted on wall - but can also be roof mounted. SV2 has the same fan and sun cell as its elder brother SV3, but the SV2 panel has equal length and width. Therefore this model is well suited for putting 'on point tip' on wall or roof. That is also why it has got it's nickname "Diamond".
The amount of hot air from the small models, does not exceed levels for temperature and m3 that makes thermostat/regulator unit necessary. That is why SV3 and SV2 as standard are delivered only with on/off switch.

How Does It Work?
The SolarVenti solar air collector entire back plate is perforated by tiny holes that sucks in air into the solar panels and in a controlled manor so the combination of heat and airflow can be exploited optimally. This means that the solar air collector can be made significantly smaller, elegant and in multiple shapes. The perforated back plate also means that the solar panel cools itself when the fan is off.
How is it Powered?
The SolarVenti solar air collector can run by itself, without being connected to the grid or other electrical power system and without manual control since it is powered by an internal solar panel. It turns itself on and off depending on whether the sun shines and therefore has no operating cost
Its structure and its components are so simple that the SolarVenti unit is both very inexpensive and is maintenance free for 10 -15 years.
